Early Life
My Life and History
I was born in Vernon, Texas and raised in Crowell, Texas. I spent the first three years of my life in Knox City, Texas. My father was a rural mail carrier. My parents were elderly in comparison to most parents of that time, and, outside of a grown half-brother, I was an only child. As a result, I learned to play by myself and developed interests that would amuse an only child.
