Thanks to my nephew, I have a hobby of 3-D printing. My son Jeremy designs shoulder replacements and uses a resin printer to make prototypes. I am not good with 3-D design but a lot of models are online and free. I use the printer to make household objects (mostly for the 3-D printer), but it also does a decent job with my hobby of plastic models. The prints are basic and require cleaning up and detailing, but that is part of model making that I have enjoyed all my life. The great advantage of 3-D printing is making prints at any size and quantity.

It's great fun to create my own models and I enjoy being able to print storage boxes, hardware and game pieces instead of buying items separately.
