Pets
About Me
I have two pets. The first is Beowulf, a toy poodle. Beowulf was born October 8, 2010, and joined our household in early December, 2010. He is my constant companion and has been a great deal of comfort to me since the loss of my wife, Karon.
Beowulf's hobbies are barking, running outside to check on noises and chase birds out of "his" back yard, and eating. He likes anything I eat, including bell peppers and lettuce.
My second pet is Kitty. She is a very large calico cat. The creative name was given because Karon and I had never had a cat and didn't know exactly how to treat her. Kitty is quite a bit larger than Beowulf and she is about a year older. We adopted her after she and her siblings were found by a utility crew. They appeared to be abandoned, probably because their mother had an accident.
Kitty is a typical cat. She enjoys resting and rarely requires attention. She gets along with Beowulf, even though he tends to be a little more playful than she prefers.
